The community of Anderson, South Carolina lies within a conflux of healthy perceptions and past dealings, motivations, and political strife. It has yet to come into its 21st-century life and is all too often overlooked due to these social issues. Our objective in this case was to research Anderson’s people and existing perceptions to frame an opportunity to evoke positive social change. 

The goal was to change how people perceive “blue collar” workers and industries and how it can impact the community for powerful change. We chose to honor industries and workers through celebrating why industry matters to the people in Anderson.
