ABOUT THE CLIENT

Born in 1950, Margaret Whitman, or Margo for short, was born in the upper east side of New York City. She grew up going to Montauk during her summers as a child and fell in love with the natural beauty, adventure, and active lifestyle that the historic city provided. Margo worked as a Contrology Pilates instructor in New York until her retirement, where she moved back to her summer vacation spot. As she continued to practice living an active lifestyle in Montauk, Margo found that she couldn’t find just the right equipment, clothing and accessories that allowed her to live and move comfortably for her age. She was tired of searching countless stores for elegant, timeless, quality activewear. It was out of this frustration that Montauk Athletic Club was born.
